MEC Design of Berlin, Germany unveiled their all new styling package for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

Custom tailored for a customer in Florida, the MEC SLS features a revised aggressive body kit with offerings of three different diffusers, one or two piece front lips with optional LED lighting, as well as side skirts with LED’s, a roof air scoop, and a new trunk-lid spoiler—all of which are available in Carbon Fiber Finish.

MEC also custom designed their own stainless steel sports muffler to make that 6.2L more sonorous. MEC also adds their own MEC Design Hydraulic Suspension with “Lift-Up” System, that adjusts the height of the front and rear axle by 30mm up or 700mm down. Custom wheels were made in-house and are 20 inchers up front with 21 at the back.

On the inside, the SLS receives a new sports steering wheel with shift paddles while the rest of the surfaces like the center console, entry guard, center compartment between the rear seats, seat casings and the covers get carbon fiber.

Power for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG comes from a 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a maximum torque of 479 lb-ft. Mated to an E-SELECT system that controls the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sport transmission, the SLS AMG can go from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds (with the Race Start launch control system) with a top speed of 196 mph.

This AMG series with MEC Design is including the aerodynamic package for customers from United States, mainly from Florida. The package for the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, specifically for SLS 63 AMG consists of several features, such as spoiler lip with carbon finish, LED headlights, and two-piece front spoiler.

MEC Design Stainless Steel Sports Rear Muffler with a gigantic, very vigorous and muffled sound, especially in the higher rpm range, where the AMG system reaches its limits (in respect to the sound!); it can also be used with the original AMG System with Adaptor pipes for the MEC Design 4-pipes end tips for use with the MEC Design Bodykit!

MEC Design Hydraulic Suspension with “LIFT-UP” System, Height adjustment by pressing a button to 30mm at the front / rear axle and, lowering up to 70mm possible.

MEC Design Wheels mecxtreme3 Front axle 10,5×20 with 265/30 ZR 20 as well as rear axle 11,5×21 with 295/25 ZR 21; there is a possible combination of 11 or rather. 11,5×20 on the front combined with 12,5×20 on the rear axle

MEC Design Carbon/ Alcantara Sports Steering Wheel, the steering wheel is very strong and highly ergonomic in form; Furthermore the shift paddles and the steering wheel insert (triangle below) are also available in Carbon finish.

The steering wheel is also available with Leather/Alcantara or rather Carbon/ Leather finish.
